The camera features a larger 1/1.28-inch sensor, enhancing image quality, particularly in low-light conditions. The new PureVideo mode utilizes AI-based noise reduction to improve low-light performance further.

Features for Enhanced User Experience

One of the standout features of the X5 is its user-replaceable lenses. These allow users to easily swap out damaged lenses, thereby extending the camera's lifespan and reducing e-waste. The replacement lens kit costs $29.99.
Moreover, the X5 introduces InstaFrame mode, enabling simultaneous recording of 360-degree and flat videos for easy sharing. The camera also offers improved battery life, lasting up to 185 minutes depending on resolution. It is now IP68-rated, making it water-resistant up to 49 feet (approx 15 meters).

The Insta360 X5 is available starting at $549.99 for the standard version, which includes basic accessories. For those seeking additional gear, the Essentials Bundle is priced at $659.99, offering extras like a selfie stick and an additional battery.
