Bell Canada has announced the launch of Ateko, a new technology services brand that consolidates its recent acquisitions—FX Innovation, HGC Technologies, and CloudKettle—under a single umbrella. This strategic move aims to enhance Bell's position in the tech services sector by offering integrated solutions in cloud services, digital transformation, and cybersecurity.

Strategic Acquisitions Form the Foundation of Ateko

Over the past two years, Bell Canada has acquired several tech companies to strengthen its service offerings:

FX Innovation: Acquired in June 2023, FX Innovation is a Montreal-based provider of cloud-focused managed and professional services, specializing in workflow automation solutions.
HGC Technologies: In October 2024, FX Innovation, a company owned by Bell Canada, bought HGC Technologies. HGC is a top ServiceNow partner operating in Canada and the U.S. This acquisition strengthens FX Innovation's skills in process automation and digital transformation.
CloudKettle: Acquired in July 2024, CloudKettle is a Halifax-based professional services company specializing in Salesforce consulting and data integration, operating in Canada and the U.S.

By integrating these companies, Ateko aims to provide end-to-end solutions that leverage Bell's robust network infrastructure and the specialized expertise of its acquisitions.

John Watson, Group President at Bell, emphasized the significance of this consolidation:
