New M4 Chip Brings Unstoppable Performance

The standout feature of the new MacBook Air is the Apple M4 chip. The chip is designed to deliver faster performance and better power efficiency. The 10-core CPU combined with up to 10-core GPU enhances both daily tasks and intensive workflows like video editing or gaming.

According to Apple, the M4 chip makes the new MacBook Air up to 2x faster than the M1 version and up to 23x faster than previous Intel-based MacBook Air models.

Extended Battery Life

One of the key highlights is the improved battery life. The MacBook Air now offers up to 18 hours of battery backup, making it one of the longest-lasting laptops in its segment. This is 6 hours longer compared to Intel-based MacBooks, providing more productivity on the go.

Display and Design

The new MacBook Air is available in two display sizes: 13-inch and 15-inch models. Both models come with a stunning Liquid Retina display that supports over 1 billion colors and True Tone technology. For the first time, the MacBook Air with M4 supports up to two external 6K displays alongside the built-in display. This type of function makes it a more versatile option for professionals who need a multi-display setup.

A new Sky Blue color option has been introduced, alongside classic Starlight, Midnight, and Silver finishes.

Enhanced Connectivity and Audio

The MacBook Air now features Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth 5.3, and two Thunderbolt 4 ports. Additionally, the audio experience has been upgraded with a three-microphone array and Spatial Audio with Dolby Atmos support. Plus, the MacBook Air 15-inch now has a 6-speaker system while the MacBook Air 13-inch has a 4-speaker system.

Sustainability Efforts

Apple continues its commitment to sustainability, with the MacBook Air featuring over 55% recycled content. It also includes 100% recycled aluminum in its enclosure and 100% recycled rare earth elements in magnets.
